I think I owe you guys a post. It’s the weather, otherwise I’d be right here with you.
I was just looking at this video a someone sent me and wanted to share. If you haven’t seen it yet you have to watch it.
This made me wonder how often we do things because of tradition? Sometimes there are lots of good reasons to do things the way others do, but there are other times where you just want to make it your own. I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard of a ceremony quite like the one in the video. I know in recent years people are choosing different locations for their weddings, like their back yard or the beach, but it’s still a march down the aisle.
I don’t know why I said all of this. It just made me look at things being done out of the norm. Hope it makes you laugh.
And I hope you do something different tomorrow. Take a fashion risk! Try new foods. Mix it up once in a while.

An interesting idea, the City Slipper is essentially a rubber cover that slips over your high heels to provide a little extra traction and protection on a dainy day.

Came across something that made me laugh I wanted to share. I can understand how certain well known people might license their name for things like fragrances, clothes, and more, but thought it was a tad strange to see Rober Cavalli vodka. Some celebrities will put their name on almost any product.

Back in 2003 Rem Koolhaas (who is also an architect) started with the Mobius shoe. Since then, he’s launched United Nude with shoe-maker Galahad JD Clark, which has established itself as an iconic brand that prides itself on innovations in footwear design.
United Nude is also the same people the brought us the heelless high heel that we mentioned before.
I love the fact that they aim to innovate and be truly original. I’m sure they’ll come up with a few designs that we’ll all be wearing in the future, but in between that will also be a few we question I’m sure.
Are we ready for such style? Is this what Leeloo (from movie 5th Element) wears for a night out?
I mean sex and high heels, and how a doctor came to the conclusion that wearing high heels can actually improve a woman’s sex life.
Doctor Maria Cerruto set out to prove that high heels were not as bad for women’s health as some suggest, and has found that women who held their foot at a 15 degree angle to the ground – the equivalent of a two inch heel – had as good posture as those who wore flat shoes.
But wait, it gets even more interesting. She also states that this angle of the foot while wearing high heels also says 2-inch high heels can improve sexual performance.
‘‘Heels work the pelvic muscles and reduce the need to exercise them. Wearing heels during daily activity may reduce the need for the pelvic floor exercises necessary to keep that part of a woman’s anatomy toned and elastic,’’ Cerruto said.
The pelvic floor muscles are crucial for a women: they are involved in sexual performance and satisfaction (including orgasm), delivering at the same time an essential support to the pelvic organs, from bladder to bowels and uterus. But their capacity can be negatively affected by pregnancy and childbirth, and also by the aging. There are exercises that are to strengthen these muscles, but who cares about them when the heel solution would be much more pleasant?
While there is no evidence that even higher heels will provide even further pleasure, it has been noted that the opposite sex approves and it has helped in many cases for a woman’s “conquest”.
