    It’s not that I ONLY care about brands, but I do have certian brands that I totally trust. Price is always important, but I don’t buy shoes just because they’re cheap or on sale. In fact, I have had more than enough bad experinces with buying random, inexpensive brands and having them break and/or kill my feet after an hour or so. My favorite brands that don’t break the bank are Jessica Simpson, Steve Madden, BCBG, Aerosoles and MIA. All great values in my opinion.

    Brand obviously..The will last longer and make up for their higher price right ?

    I totally agree with Ryanne and Sunny. Brand – thereby making sure that I am getting figh quality product although with that sometimes come with hefty price tag.

    Sunny – Not always. Brand/price isn’t a guarantee, but helps you choose.
    Chichi – I think it’s about knowing the value you from a brand, not because you know the name. I’ve bought brand names I recognize and been disappointed. It’s when you find one that works for you, you can usually expect consistancy in their quality and fit. I have one friend and he swears by Rockport. Won’t bother looking at anything else. And another who thinks Nine West is the only brand out there, even if you try to pay her to try something else on!
