Who Says it Doesn’t Pay to Wear High Heels

A British woman who broke her ankle after one of her high heels snapped is dancing to the tune of £7,200 compensation (that’s about US$14,200).
The shoe manufacturer admitted in Manchester County Court this week that King’s $72 heels were faulty and agreed to pay her compensation. The case could set a precedent for hundreds of other claims. Link
I thought this was interesting since I’ve seen a few women break a heel and wind up on their assets, fortunately they didn’t break their ankle. The woman mentioned above also had to take time off work.
