Heel-less High Heels?

What do Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Uma Thurman all have in common? They all own a heelless pair of shoes from British designer Antonio Berardi. The 5 1/2-inch, heel-less high-heel shoe goes for a mere $3,600 a pair, and already has a five-week back order for them in England. Rumor has it that Miss Beckham has order the snakeskin pair (pictured) while Miss Paltrow and Thurman have both ordered black patent verions.
So what do you think? Hot or Not?

um no. that is killer on your feet and really not healthy for your feet, legs, or your back. think about walking on your tippy toes all day. People are absolutly INSANE for even thinking about purchasing them…..

It’s really sad that the well to do waste their money on some really stupid things to make so kind of fashion statement! All it’s saying is “look at me; I have money but no sense”!! Give the money to people who would like just a DECENT pair of shoes but can’t afford them!!!!

They look like ponyplay boots – like those made by Punitive Shoes. I can’t say I’m into this kind of thing, but if I were to buy ponygirl-like boots, I’d go for the real deal with the horseshoe embedded in the sole. That way, it’d be more extreme. And while I love platforms, I want them to have a heel – or a wedge.
