We all have them. A bad day can put you in a foul mood, often making it difficult to reverse.
Here’s a bunch of ideas worth a try the next time you find yourself fuming inside.
- Escape and go somewhere to recoup. A walk on the beach, or in the park. Make it breath taking.
- Enjoy some favorite music. It soothes the soul and can actual lift your spirits.
- Immerse yourself. A book or movie might distract you. You might be better for it.
- Treat yourself. A pedicure, or a latte, perhaps a trip to the spa. Only you know what it takes.
- Reward your taste buds. Drown your sorrows in chocolate, or maybe a cheese cake.
- Go shopping. Like there’s ever an excuse required.
- Relax with something soothing like a cup of tea. It might calm you.
- Call a friend. A shoulder to cry on or someone to just listen always helps.
- Do a workout. Hit the heavy bag if necessary.
- Visit the aquarium. A surprisingly relaxing environment.
- Try aromatherapy. Buy some flowers, light some incense, or scented candles
- Visit an interesting website like PostSecret, BoingBoing, or Stumbleupon.
